Why would NY deploy national guard to deal with a "migrant crisis"... if there is no crisis? It's just talking points from the republicans... I've heard that for months now. Women being raped at the border (see below), trafficking of minors, and criminals and terrorists attempting to get in..."talking points of the republicans".

What crisis then? stop wasting $ that can put these people in 5 star NYC hotels! INSTEAD... put the migrants into the US Military or national guard! Wallah!! Cheap and easy housing!

And what are national guard going to do... shoot migrants? Knife prior victims of rape? These people are staying in $300 a night hotels. I've never even been in the St. Regis... too expensive, yet people from Venezuala are staying there for months.

a better balanced view... maybe: the national guard will help with paper work and processing! not just going around policing... who knows. but people living in tent cities through the winter...
