Do you have to prove yourself for jobs requiring diversity?

If job prefers hiring hispanic and you look enough the part, do you have to prove your "hispanicness"?

What about blackness or native American. How do you prove your are black if you are mixed?

If the job requires you to be white or chinese, have you had to prove that?

"We like you, pending confirmation you are at least 1/2 Chinese, we will make an offer"!

P. S. I think this kinda stuff is disgusting for the majority of jobs and offensive and wrong. But that's our whacky country of using race/sex/age to justify discrimination. Go figure.

The color of person skin does not bother me or where he came from; as far as I am concerned, there are two groups of people. If your not an American Indian, you're an emigrant. My family on my dad's side came from Germany in 1832. So all these people that complain about all (different countries------------------------------) they need to sit down & look at where they're from it could be the same place; there are a lot of people here that don't know where grandparents or great grandparents are.
I was lucky that my dad got me into researching my family now I have 8,000 in my family tree.
