Independent thinkers wouldn't move to cities to find "security". They understand that there's no security in money that a government can declare worthless overnight. Real security is in having a supply of water nobody can take away, a supply of food you don't have to pay for because you grew it yourself or raised it and a shelter that allows you to stay dry when it rains, cool when it's hot and warm when it's cold. That's security. Not a 7 figure savings account.

Education is going downhill for decades and when we had covid it is in free fall The teachers union has always been a big Democrat donor. You have to actively deprogram yourself from some things taught in school. Some schools teach you that the civil war was the war of northern aggression, that is bullshit. Schools for a while would not even teach evolution. Schools will tell you Christopher Columbus was some virtuous man when in reality he wore a necklace with the tongues of natives he cut off. He also fucked kids and had slaves.

Luckily my school was a pretty liberal school and is in the top 3,000 if you round up a tiny bit. Not in the state, in the country.
