In your opinion and from your experience, why are a lot of people cruel and judgmental towards others? Offline and online?

From my experience with souls that ask questions like this…this broad and far reaching…it usually is that the person asking is super sensitive.
Everyone or most people are not criticizing if they have an opinion. In fact, most people could care less about you. If anyone takes the time to give an opinion it may be because they are a decent people. I do not know your specifics SO this may or may not be applicable.

I am not (at least not always) sensitive. I've had people reject me (for friendship or more) for the shallowest, dumbest reasons (at least from my perspective). Lots of people are selfish in that they only care about themselves and what can benefit them. I can name so many examples of this in my 38 years of life.

When I needed them, they weren't there for me. Only family was. But there were times I was there for them! I'd rather not be friends with someone that only does that. It's one-sided!

And men and dating, don't get me started with that lol.

Sorry, I know not everyone is like that (and I might just be venting), but I've known WAY TOO many examples/cases of that stuff happening to me, for it to be acceptable!

You're right as I have no idea of your personal experience. I was relying solely upon girlfriends and. "you got pissed at that... let me tell you what I would have done"- It is two good friends since University. "How would you feel if I did this?" friends. It goes both ways...

Quite often you can trace a lot of people's negativity to their own insecurity and jealousy of others.

People who are hurt think they will feel better hurting others. Guilt inevitably sets in however. Then they feel worse. Won’t mean they break the cycle though.
