Sadly, this is typical nowadays, when the cheaters get busted, they don't want a reminder of how truly awful they are as persons, and they don't have an explanation that's moral for their acts, so they don't want to face the guilt. The ghosting part is trying to run away from their guilt - good luck with that, it hurts for life. You have to realize they did you a favor, better now than when you have 3 kids together, and they lose a father. Try dating someone else, someone mature, developed and reliable, that's the best cure.
