Why does my friend keep asking me if I'm OK ?

My friend is constantly asking me if I am OK

Why does he do this ?

It doesn't bother me I'm just wondering

When I ask him why he's asking me he just shakes his head and says just wondering or he says you look sad

I mean, if someone had a sad look on their face, I'd ask if they were okay. I am in tune with other people's emotions so I usually ask people if they're okay. If I feel like they are trying to put up a facade, I might ask a few times just to be sure hoping they'll eventually open up.

He might be overly concerned because he is interested in you, although a lot of the time guys just can't tell when a girl is upset. Even if she says she's not, many guys can't tell whether she actually means that or that she just doesn't want to talk about it.

It could be both, because all our friends say he likes me and strangers think we are together or other friends that we don't really hang out with outside of school are shocked when they find out we aren't dating Sometimes there is nothing wrong and sometimes I just don't want to talk about it
