Is it a turn off if a guy is talkative?

It seems like when you try and have an interesting conversation with a girl or you're a talkative guy, the more turned off she gets. especially the cuter the girl gets, the more she seems to expect a guy to be the tough silent type. it's kinda ridiculous. I try to show I have a connection with people and that I find them interesting and fun to talk to. do girls think talkative guys are more feminine or something? intimidating? awkward? why do girls commonly seem turned off by talkative guys?

Under the assumption that

--You listen as much as you talk

--You don't say stupid sh*t

--You acknowledge what she is saying by showing interest and not changing topics to whatever you just want to talk about

If you don't do the above, that's probably the reason why. If you do then:

--You are probably revealing too much about yourself too soon

--You are always available to talk when she wants to

--Whenever you talk to her you come off as too nice

--You don't make her feel like she needs to keep your interest, you make it seem like you need to keep her interest most of the time.

It's true though, talk too much on the phone and talk all the time and instead of getting texts like "Hey, how are you? What have you been up to?" you'll get no texts at all.

do you think it's like a subconscious fear of commitment or connection, on their part, because girls repeatedly date guys in which they have no real connection? I think it's funny how girls will seem to commit to guys unworthy of commitment, yet blow off those who show signs of commitment to them.

When are naturally submissive in the aggregate and will flock to men that are harder to get, a guy whose doesn't sweat them comes off as the guy who could have other women in his life, and women hold each others' opinion in high esteem. that's why if you are walking around with a group of girls, your attractiveness sky rockets. make friends with lots of girls first, and you will find the opportunities with their friends are endless

How talkative are you talking? I mean if it's to the point where the conversation is like 80% or more about you and mainly you, then that is a little too much. I think being talkative is a good thing. My friends also have no problem with talkative guys. It's a good thing because the conversation always has interest and there is less awkward silence. But when your being talkative it has to interesting and involving. You can't just ramble on and on about nothing.

i feel that this has happened to me a few times. but you know, its frustrating when a girl literally seems to be putting little or no effort into the conversation herself. it sucks to have to carry a conversation like that. it starts to get nerve wrecking.

Yes, I definitely understanding. It always depends who you are talking to. My friend... is super boring on chat like at first, she's talks; but, after a while, she uses one word answers. In person, she's super talkative and entertaining. It all depends on the person. What I do is ask questions. Questions that leave room to spark up an interesting conversation. The occasionally, I'd express things about me. It helps.

I like talkative guys just for the simple fact that they don't let a conversation die it just keeps going . So for me its a plus on that . (: But When girls start doing that its maybe because they're just not interested so best advice is to go on to the next .

depends on the girl and what you talk about and a billion other things. don't worry about it so much and just do your thing. some girls love it.
