Does trying to make someone jealous make the person immature?

I haven't tried to make other guys jealous. I've been tempted, but i think it's kinda stupid. But some guys have tried to make me jealous after i ignored them. I found myself attracted to them (not jelly lol, just flattered), but if they're immature, then i feel i shoudn't be.

The trick is knowing whether he is trying to make you jealous so that he can have you, or if he is trying to make you jealous just to hurt you. Both can end up with you being attracted to him, but its HIS intentions you have to look out for

That's soo true, I havent' thought of it that way. How can I tell between him trying to hurt me and liking me a lot?

Depends on how he acts when he talks to you, really. If he is more open and friendly, like his plan has worked because he likes you - then he probably was just doing it to get your attention and to show you what you were missing out on. On the other hand, if he kinda shoves it in your face and acts like a dick about it, then he probably was just trying to hurt you.

Regardless, it is still immature and childish to try and make someone jealous. But sometimes its the only thing a person can do if they truly like you and have no other way of getting your attention / showing you.

Depends on what you did to them, but looking deep into your eyes could mean a number of things.

Nothing. They just started checking me out when I could see it hitting on me, being chivalrous, trying to talk and flirt with me, etc. So I just ignored them. A couple moved on and tried to make me jealous and the others chase me. It's not my fault.

Oh, well in that case they are simply trying to get your attention. They should definitely not being trying to piss off someone that they are interested in, and also someone that they dont have any sort of relationship or friendship with yet.

Yes, very immature. I assumed that you were talking about a friend, or a past hookup, or an ex. If it is someone who you dont know or bareley know, the only asnwer is that it is very immature. You also might be misinterpreting their actions: they may not be trying to make you jealous, they may have just moved on to someone else - and in turn, you are getting jealous by them doing that.

I thought it was immature so I was more disappointed in him than him liking another girl. But if I notice if he's looking @ me when he's flirting or he gets jealous (one time that happened when I was checking another guy lol) then I know he's still interested.

It's very potent but dangerous. I don't advice doing it while in a serious relationship making someone who cares about you jealous can cause them a lot of pain even if they haven't been treating you right in the relationship.

For casual stuff, I feel like it's exciting especially since I like to compete with other guys for girls.

Yeah. This guy used to chase me and I wasn't sure yet so he (supposedly) moved on to another girl. Then I was checking out this random guy and he hit him really hard. He stood in front of me and was watching me to see if I was looking at him. I was like whoa, chill out dude.

In some cases, yet honestly. This guy I like makes it seem like he tries to make me jealous by hanging around other girls yet doesn't talk to me at all. I've been told he likes me though so if its true then this is the worst way to go about it.

Ikr! Just be honest. Don't try and play games. You don't know how many times this has happened to me lol. The best way to tell if he still likes u is if he looks back at you while he's "flirting" with another girl. That is the most obvious sign.

Lol it has nothing to do with where u live. It's attitude. This guy's been chasing me since I was 13 and he's a gentleman. He's not annoying, but he still flirts a lot. It's so sweet. =)

If u don't like him that way either give him a chance or let him know u are just being nice and friendly not flirty because you are interested. If you give off the wrong signal for a while, If done to the wrong person they could blow up in flames and give u a bad rep.
