I feel ugly because I'm not curvy?

I'm under weight naturally. I'm short and skinny, I'm a 32B and I have a small ass but seem to get complimented on it (god knows why) and its really depressing me. I see people like kim kardashian and beyonce and I want to have feminine curves like them. Everyone goes on about how 'real woman have curves' and it just really puts me down. Everyone calls me beautiful/gorgeous/adorable etc so I guess I have a pretty face and people say I have a good personality but I just feel so ugly cos I'm really petite :( I hate it, I feel like guys won't like me cos I'm so skinny. My measurements are 28-24-30, no curves AT ALL. help :(

I hate the saying "Real women have curves." It's just meant to make curvy girls feel better about themselves because the media pushes thin celebrities as beautiful. Meanwhile, it makes other girls feel bad about themselves for not fitting some other stupid stereotype. No matter what, some group of women is going to feel bad about themselves because of the things the media pushes. Women's bodies come in a lot of varieties; idealizing one and calling the others unattractive is incredibly wrong and does nothing but hurt women. You don't have to be curvy to be attractive. You don't have to be really thin to be attractive. Whatever you were born with is what's going to work for you regardless of what the media says.

a lot of guys like really petite thin girls, at least you never have to worry about getting fat.

people say "real women have curves" but if you look at movies, TV, and magazines, all the pretty girls are really skinny so it seems like that saying came about to make big girls feel better about themselves. girls with your body type are all over the media so how can you feel bad?

if people are always calling you beautiful and adorable then you can't be ugly, don't feel bad

Because in reality, most people don't like super thin bodies, contrary to what the fashion industry pushes. Curves are always seen as more beautiful.

This is why I hate the media. The media skewers the definition of beauty and forces all ladies to try and conform to their vision of "pretty." I'm sick and tired of ladies being depressed over not being beautiful because of what the media portrays as good looking; all women are beautiful.

And you know what? I'm sure you're absolutely gorgeous and it doesn't matter what other people look like. Not all guys are attracted to girls who have wide curves or an amazingly fit body. True gentlemen will love a girl for who she is and not what she looks like.

I'm sure you are beautiful and the furthest thing from being ugly. So stop beating yourself down, keep your head up, and smile.
