:( I'm really sorry. I'm an insomniac as well.
I once went three days without sleep. I go to sleep just before dawn lately. I'm the poster child for sleep disturbances.
The biggest tip I can give you for the meantime is to CHILL OUT. I know its emotional and feels awful, but as long as you're laying down and in bed comfy, your body is getting *some* rest.
Its better than being up all night upset.
Another thing: is there anything on your mind that's bothering you? If so address it before nighttime. Talk about it, write about it, etc.
Establish a regular bedtime routine and follow it strictly. Wake up at the same time every morning, the earlier the better. EXERCISE HELPS SO MUCH.
But you need to find the underlying problem.
Journal everyday and write what time you get sleepy at and what time you wake up. Its best to wake up when you feel rested and not too early for this to be accurate. And then bring the journal to your doctor. There are so many sleep disorders and you might have one.
I use melatonin and it helps sometimes. Its an all natural over the counter medicine that makes you sleepy. You can find it anywhere.
Hmmm... oh also, do you have anxiety issues? That's part of my problem

I completely get the insomnia thing (it was horrid a few years ago, but got better thankfully). If you can't sleep, try not to stress about it. Just lay there and relax. Even if you can't sleep, at least you're not doing anything too taxing.
And I don't know if anyone else has done this and everyone's gonna think its really weird, but on nights that I was desperate to fall asleep, I found it worked best to sleep in a different orientation; I'd stick my pillow at the foot of my bed and my feet at the headboard. I know it's strange and I have no clue if it'll work for anyone but me, but it's worth a shot. (And, if you don't wanna do that, maybe try sleeping on the couch?)
Also, only use your bed for sleeping. Don't lay there on your phone or with a book during the day or night, because then your brain may begin to as package your bed with more than just sleeping. (I don't remember where I saw that in the first place, but hey, worth a shot.)
I really hope this helps! Best wishes!
Try listing to a recorded rain and thunder storm that always just puts me right to sleep there is just something about listing to the rain and thunder that puts me to sleep you can find dozens of them on YouTube just put one on and listen. The Japanese flute is also very soothing I used to have trouble sleep to and this always helped me I know you don't have tea but anything warm helps maybe just heat up some water and sip it, it will help relax you. I also smoke a briar pipe an hour or two before going to sleep it is very relaxing and soothing nothing illegal just good old tobacco a vanilla aromatic to be exact. Best I can do on short notice I hope you fall asleep I shall pray that you fall asleep maybe say a pray that you will fall asleep yourself gods power is after all absolute.
Maybe you should try a polyphasic sleep schedule.
Also pay attention to what your habits are. Try not to eat late meals as this greatly effects your sleep cycles. Cut out caffeine at least 6 hours before bedtime (or naps). Exercise during the day at least some and make sure you don't do any strenuous activities at least 2 hours before bed. You can attempt watching a dull movie that doesn't exite you, sometimes that can be enough to clear thoughts that would otherwise keep you up. You can also take shower as warm as you can stand it, just let the water wash over you till you begin to feel sleepy. Your body will try to get rid of the heat and this can make you tired.
Hope that helps some. Insomnia is a pain

Ps if you want you can in box me so i can bored you (:
Pps you should go see your family doctor but ask if there are any natural things you can do or take if nothing natural works then try pills.I have insomnia as well, Lay down in as dark a room as you like and put on some background noise. Not music, but like a T. V. and lay down with your head facing away form it. Close your eyes, and just lay there. Don't focus on the T. V., don't focus on anything. Just lay. If You MUST focus on something then pick a character's voice that you like and focus on that. deeper rumblier voices the better I find.
What I find usually helps is to have a fan... have it on high, it doesn't have to face you, but concentrate on the noise. It always helps me (: and don't stress about it... stressing out excites your nerves and wakes you up more. Just stay calm, and concentrate on the fan.
Listen to this! :3
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vU0fYzuypXgGo to a pharmacy or supplement store and buy Melatonin. It's 3-5$ and completely safe. You take 3mg I think half an hour before you head to bed.
Masturbate? I smoke cannabis for my insomnia and depression.. doesn't sound like that's an option for you though.. mom sound like a b itch.
Put on a movie in the back while you fall asleep. This always helps me fall asleep. Also try counting backwards from 500. This will help your mind stop racing uncontrollably.
