I want to visit a psychologist but I don't want to worry my parents?

So, I really believe that I need a psychologist, a professional to help me but I don't want to neither worry my parents nor make them pay a ton of money. I've tried talking to people on 7cups but tbh they're not very helpful anymore. What should I do?

You need to go! Listen, I say this as a parent aswel as a gager. When something is up with your kid, you know. Sometimes you try to figure it out, or you hope it'll get better after the horrible teen years, but you know..
And if your parents knew the true extent of how you're feeling, they'd be devastated that you didn't get the help when you needed it, just to spare their feelings. If it's for their feelings, you should go. Nothing makes a parent happier than knowing their kid is ok or will be ok.
For the money, ah every parent knows kids cost a shit ton, and that's not including clothes, food etc.. every parent knows unexpected things will come up, and most are prepared for that or at least expect it.

Your parents priority is their kid (s). They will find the money. And these types of things... it's always better to get the help sooner rather than later when you fall deeper and deeper. You know most parents would literally not eat to make sure their kid has what they need, and you know they don't mind it at all. They really genuine don't mind it. It makes them happy to know their kid is getting what they need. Your parents will be happy you're getting what you need. They'd have noticed the difference in you too, and will be excited and happy that they can help you back on the right track and get you back to how you once were.

Go talk to your parents.

I don't know what your situation is, but are you sure you need an "offical" psychologists? I'm sure there are better information and help for free on the internet than from "professionally trained psychologist". Don't let the fancy title fool you. Just because he gets paid for it doesn't mean he's better help for you. In fact I'm sure there are smarter people out there, who doesn't even want to be professionals because they know what the system is all about. They mostly want to give you medication, it's a business.
