What do you think about a girl who takes 3 showers a day?

i take 3 showers everyday. one in the morning. one in the afternoon and one at night and I also brush and rinse my teeth 3 times a day also. give me your honest opinions and do you think that is weird at all.

when you said I have ocd I don't I just happen to be a very clean person. but I don't do it everyday I mostly do it before and after I have sex and then if I'm on my rag I will do that also. but other than that 2 times a day or 3 times a day.

if your just going to say rude and bitchy stuff then shut the hell up and don't answer my question. whoever takes 1 bath a day probably smells like ass so talk what you know at least I'm a very hygienic person unlike the rest being honest though

WOW, ok calm down first of all...stop with the bashing of people (both sides). It does seem you have an OCD issue with keeping good hygiene. You're afraid of a guy thinking you have poor hygiene and even feel as if you do yourself AFTER sex. There is a way of being TOO clean sometimes though...There's no need to take 3 showers a day, and if there is a need then you should go see a doctor and try to get the issue resolved. You're not only wasting water, soap, etc., you're also drying out your skin and ridding the normal flora, and other barriers from your body. You asked the question on here..so you should be able to expect some rude comments from people and look past them without saying that someone smells like "as$". Last we all checked, if we shower once a day and clean well the first time, we're good to go for the whole day, UNLESS we go out and get messy/dirty outside. It's not about how many showers you take to be a clean person, its how well you clean when you take the shower usually. It is recommended that you brush your teeth 3 times a day though which is good and healthy for them, but not recommended that you shower 3 times a day unless you're just filthy. Try using unscented baby wipes or something if you feel the need to clean up or freshen up! But yes, you are OCD about it for whatever reason.

You don't get smelly and "unclean" unless you're doing things to get that way or have problems that cause it! I obviously know a lot more than you...if you don't want to be hated on so much don't ask stupid questions that's going to give you TRUTHFUL answers that will obviously make you defensive. Normal hygiene consists of a shower a day with SOAP and WATER, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, hand soap/hand sanitizer, and a hairbrush. If you need this multiple times a day you should c a DR.

It really depends on what you are doing. Do you: Morning-get up and shower, Afternoon-work out and shower, Night-Shower and go to bed? If you do that everyday I don't think it is weird. If you arn't doing anything that is giving you cause to shower three times EVERY day other then just being compulsive then yeah it is a little strange. I tend to shower twice a day. More then that (without anything like working out or something) is a little much. As to the brusing, you are supposed to brush 3 times a day so that is normal =D

Three showers a day? It depends. If you take a shower in the morning and work out later in the day, two showers make sense. If you're having sex or going out somewhere special, I can understand three showers. It's kind of odd to see a person bathing three times a day.

This seems really excessive. Water is not an unlimited resource and should be used with care. I always take a shower after I workout so that I can still feel clean and get in my "once daily".

Brushing your teeth three times a day or more is a very good thing.

sex and periods?! how are people supposed to guess that? you mark us down just because we can't guess your reason behind your 3 showers daily? obviously you think your lifestyle warrants 3 showers per day and nothing anyone else says will convince you otherwise, so why don't you spare us the lost xper points and continue on your merry way? you asked us if it seems weird to us that you shower three times per day and we said, "it seems excessive" but we don't know about you, we don't know what you do everyday or if you have any conditions that lend to your taking 3 showers, to us it just seems like overkill. so next time you ask us if we find something weird, maybe you should give us some background information.

I take a shower in the morning before school. Then one after school. Then, if I go out, one when I get home. Sometimes I take a thirdsd just because. On the weekends, if I don't go anywhere, one in the morning or at night. If I go out, that plus when I get home.

I do think it's excessive though, and probably not so great for the hair. I intend to cut back, but I'm mildly germaphobic and school disgusts me.

brushing your teeth 3 times a day is good, but 3 showers a day is too much. I mean if you workout and are dripping sweat then you should take a shower, but I think once a day is good enough.

wow, well I take ages in the shower so I only have time for one a day lol. Brushing your teeth 3x a day is recommended but I only brush twice a day which I think is good enough. I do think 3x every day is too much for a shower though-i mean how dirty can you get in a day to need to shower that much lol.

I don't think its weird, I just think you are very clean! I can't imagine being able to have the time to do that! Sometimes 1 shower is hard enough for me to make time for aha. Especially if you live in a hot climate, I wouldn't be bothered by it, even I would.

you can't ask "is it weird if I take a shower 3 times a day?" and not mention the circumstances under which you take those showers. otherwise you're just asking for people to misinterpret.
