Did I do the right thing by not giving in to him?

My ex boyfriend and I haven't spoken in a month and a half and he contacted me and during the contact, he got around to asking to spend the night with me so I said cool. I didn't have sex with him although he tried all night but I just couldn't do it. when he left the next morning, he was kinda mad but not real mad. So now I'm wondering did I do the right thing by not giving in to him and what do you think he is thinking or feeling? Positives answers please Ladies and Gentleman!

you done good, because now he knows that your not cheap and that your not needy of him and just because he turns on the charm to get what he wants doesn't mean he is going to get it, because him having a sulk in the morning proves he only wanted sex, he didn't want to be with you at all unless you were going to have sex, so he thought he could use you, but you burst his bubble, hence the bad mood, so thumbs up girl, keep an ex an ex, they only think about you when they think about sex and how to get it, its like, " I fancy a shag... I know I will get in touch with the ex, she's always game" you won't hear from them again until the next time,x

Number one GOOD you did amazing, second of all you have no idea where he's been in that month and half been away from each other. Girl definitely he want some, they always wanted I believed you love him I can tell, if He's around frequently as a friend of course all depend of you if you wanted him for sex too...Hey you decided but if he don't want anything serious with you anymore well you decide.

It sounds like he was only coming around for sex, and I think you did the right thing to resist it. He's kind of a jerk for getting mad about it, given that the two of you have a history together. He ought to be respectful of your choices.

I guess the best thing would be not to have him round again, so that you can each move on.
