Is it normal to not talk to your boyfriend everyday ?

I am all about giving a person your dating their space. my friend has a fit when she doesn't talk to a guy she is seeing for more than 3 hours. I don't understand how girls get so upset when he doesn't call. sometimes I don't talk to a guy for more than 3 days. I know he works hard and he is tired. so tell me its normal not to talk to your boyfriend everyday?

If we are dating I would expect not to hear from him everyday.

However, if we are in a serious committed relationship it is normal to keep in contact throughout the day.

That is something that would be expected.

I wouldn't keep a time track of how often we spoke that day, but I would definitely expect to hear from him.

I think that being in a serious relationship a couple needs to keep up the communication. Its just out of respect to let the other person know your thinking of them even in our busy schedules we have a couple seconds to pick up the phone text or call.

i totally agree. but if you are not in a serious committed relationship, you don't need to talk everyday. If you are seeing someone and its progressing then let it progress.

Dating or seeing someone, is a whole different story. When you are just seeing someone it eventually progresses to has such. When things are fresh and new, you don't want to smutter the person. You want to allow things to grow to that point.

I would want to hear from my boyfriend everyday. A few hours does not bother me though. If I went 3 days without talking to my boyfriend then I would go insane.

Every couple has their significant moments. there's couples that work two different work schedules one in morning on graveyard but they makup time on weekend.

As long as you and you man have an arrangement that's all that matters. Time is what you make it, understanding each other is Timeless.

it would be nice to have that little messages here and there. But I feel like you make the person miss you, so when you see or talk to him you'll be excited.

that's true as well, but I worry about the whole "out of sight, out of mind" part of it. I guess it's different for everybody.
