He still lives with his ex...

I recently met this guy through a friend whom I've developed a strong connection with. We talk everyday for hours and have this amazing chemistry. Recently though, he revealed that he did get out of a 6 year relationship and that it has been difficult moving on, but that after meeting me, he's finally been able to begin moving forward.

Thing is, he also said that he still currently shares residence with his ex and that they are still friends. Which explains why it has been difficult for the both of them to move forward from one another. He wants to begin dating and has asked me out, he honestly seems sincere about his feelings about me... but I'm not sure if I should go for it. He's amazing but I don't know how things will be if him and I were to become serious.

...but ladies, would you go for a guy in this kind of circumstance?

And fellas, could you possibly shed a male perspective as to what a guy may be thinking if you were in his position?

Should I got for it? Or stay away?

It all depends on how much you trust him. And on if he is trustworthy. I ended an 8 year relationship within the past few months. We pretty much lived together the whole time. Long story short, we still live together, only because I didn't feel it was necessary to kick her out. She is in the process of finding her own place, even though I told her she could stay as long as she needed to. But the thing is, we REALLY are good friends. She does her own thing, sees other guys, etc. and same for me. We also made an agreement. Out of respect for each other, we don't bring anyone else home. I guess what I'm saying is, if you trust in him, give him a chance. Pretty much ALL of my female friends just don't believe me when I say that we are just friends. And I can understand why, but that is the truth.

I think that as long as he lives in the same place as his ex, you shouldn't start a serious relationship. Of course, tell him that you really feel that amazing chemistry, but you don't want to cause problems or frictions between the three of you.

Remember that there could still be the old flame. I am not telling you to be suspicious or to be open minded if he wants to return with her (It may be because they still physically live together).

By the way, did you ask him why does he still live in the same residence as her?

Note: It would be an economical or financial cause, but let him tell you first the cause instead of giving him ideas.
