I regret breaking up with my boyfriend and I miss him, what to do?

In retrospect I feel the reason why I broke up with him is so pointless now, he was amazing in so many ways.. very kind, caring, funny and always had small surprises etc.

I ended it because I felt I wasn't ready for a long term commitment i. e. for me to not experience that phase of being single and having options. I broke his heart and he was very devastated with the break up, at the time I was content with it but now I'm so sad.

He won't even reply to my texts or calls anymore.

You messed up. You sound like you need to mature a little bit because if you make decisions like that "just because..." then you're not ready for any kind of real relationship. The best you could do is simply text and apologize and acknowledging your immaturity. But don't do it with the thought that you'll get him back or he'll respind back. Just do it because you feel it's the right thing to do, take time to yourself to figure out who you are and what you want outta life, not just relationships, move on and never repeat this cycle of decision making again based on temporary and fleeting emotion

A lot of times the dumper feels some sort of regret or guilt after the break up. It’s normal, but it’s not always how you truly feel. After breaking up, you’ll feel a whirlwind of emotions, IF you really cared about the person you were with. You obviously cared about him but you decided to do what was best for you, which is a good call. If he’s not answering your calls, then don’t try to call him. There's not much you can do except move on. You said it yourself you were wrong. He doesn't communicate with you anymore so there's no way to beg and plead for forgiveness. You live and you learn. If there is a next time, think long and hard before making such decisions again.

I think even if he were to talk to you, he wouldn't get back together with you. You hurt him despite him putting his heart out there for you, and if you ask to renew the relationship, you're coming off as a flake who doesn't know what she wants. He can't be confident you won't flake again. As hard as it may be, you've learned a tough lesson and now should move on.

You try and move on. Don't go getting into another relationship until you determine that's what you want AND ARE READY FOR IT. Otherwise the next one will end the same way. The best recommendation I have in terms of getting back with him begins with writing a note containing two words and only two words. "I'm sorry." You need to apologize first. Acknowledge what was wrong with what you did, understand the way in which it hurt him, and strive turn away from whatever caused you two to break up.

that was literally the exact same as my situation with my first girlfriend but after she broke up with me i remembered all the bad stuff about her so maybe if u can change all the bad stuff like for example if u had trust or clearly a commitment issue then change those then contact him or goto him and ask if u want to get back together but my rule is always go forward but some people do go back and r happy

Trust me if it was right for you for both of you then it would've been undeniable. You must've been missing some kind of chemistry with him. I've dated a guy that I still think was very kind and any girl would be lucky to have him but something was missing and then I met my current boyfriend and it all made sense. You will see when you find the one !
