You know you should and a big part of you wants to, but you just can't bring yourself to do so.
Constantly thinking, tomorrow is the day and then they do something sweet and you start to think maybe it will work out and then the cycle repeats.
I usually have not had that issue, but I hear others do... so merely curious.
It was hard on me, she sometimes texts me saying "Im Lonely". Part of me wants to console her and the other wants to tell her ^&*$ off after all the abuse she put me through.
I dated somebody for a long time and it took me a couple of months to finally end it. As crappy as the relationship was it was better than nothing.

There was a lady who I was dating from the age of 30-33. It certainly wasn't working out but I was afraid that if I broke up with her, I'd have to take out a restraining order on her. I had to work it out more diplomatically because this lady was nutty enough to come in to where I work and it would have been an issue to inform the company that I worked for that I had a restraining order against someone that might be coming in. The breakup finally worked out without drastic measures like that and she was in therapy at the time. Man that was cause for celebration!!

Many years ago at Christmastime a friend pulled me aside during a couplesā dinner out at a restaurant and he told me that he thought he should break up w his girlfriend, except it was the holidays so he said he was going to wait until after the holidays had passedā¦
And now he has 2 kids in their 20s with that then-gf and is still married to her.
Yes, I had a live in submissive who told me the second time we had our dynamic active that after she was dismissed the first time that she wrapped her car around a tree trying to kill herself. After that I was afraid that if I dismissed her again she would harm herself.
Today she is married with children and happy.
Yes, I couldnt do it even though it was over. I also wasnāt ready to be alone. I knew she didnāt think it was over. So then I cheated, and it was over for her too
u nope... ours were mutual discussion/decisions... and we did it for the best to both of us as well, not just one sided
If the exit door is calling your name, there doesnāt seem to be a reason to prolong the agony.
I was, and by so NOT wanting to break up I tolerated behavior that was hurtful to me. Until it went way too far. But I eventually did end the relationship because I had to love myself too.
