Break ups can get pretty heated and even brutal. Some bad things can get tossed around at each other too.

was there anything you said during the breakup you wish you hadn’t? Such as calling them names, saying something really hurtful when you shouldn’t? Or maybe the opposite where you gave them false hope because you wanted to be nice? This is for anyone who either did the breaking up or was broken up with.

I’ve never said anything that I regret in a break up. I plan out breakups and think of the best way to handle them in advance before actually breaking up. And if someone breaks up with me out of the blue, I’m not rude about it. I acknowledge their feelings and respect them, no name calling or nastiness. Even when I’ve been cheated on which has lead to a break up, I’ve remained calm and collected.

Yes, some heated stuff I did after my ex-girlfriend broke up with me to this day I regret it and just wished that it never happened.
