My ex recently reached out to me on instagram and followed me too. I did not respond to the text he latter proceeded to delete it. A week latter he unfollowed me.

Does it mean he still has feelings for me or thinks about me that's why he texted? Also does it mean he unfollowed me cause it was hard for him to watch my stories?

Lots of different possibilities here but in my mind the most likely is he wanted to get in touch and see if anything sparked. It didn't since you ignored it so he unfollowed you because the plan well... didn't go to plan. A secondary reason might be he wanted to see what you were up to and see what has been going on if you post a lot fo stuff. Just sorta low key stalking you to see your status.
