So my ex wants me to call on his work breaks and I told him if he wanted to be friends I am not gonna chase him like we’re in a relationship. So if he really wants to be friends with me then he has to put in the effort as a friend also and contact me.
I’m not putting much thought into it cause I’m starting to slowly see where I stand with him. It’s pretty heartbreaking but I’ve realized there is literally nothing I can do about him and I. If it’s not mutual. So I wasn’t gonna call him like I usually do. Instead he texts me on the break we talk cause I haven’t called him yet and he’s like “hey I’m not gonna call tonight”
It threw me off cause I’m always doing the reaching out so why would he even bother to text me? Am I overthinking that there is possibly someone else that had his attention or what? Or as a guy is it just not wanting to be bothered.
