I have not really done any of those. And yet, poof, no dates. I am generally interested and invested in those that i do try to get dates from. However, I run into a mess of problems that always end in myself never passing that threshold. One major problem is that women in relationships tend to talk to me more. Another is that most of the ladies that are not in relationships don't want to be with a man like me, I am less of a talker and more of a thinker.

That's because girls get flooded with so many messages that they ignore the content and only pay attention if the guy is hot. The slime balls you date know this and won't invest a lot of time messaging because of it. Quantity gets more results than quality in this scenario.

I never usually minded paying for a girl when I was dating. One thing that was very off-putting though was when it was clear that a girl expected me to pay and felt entitled to my money, a guy she just met. Girls talk about male entitlement a lot, this is the female side. So I'd always offer to pay, but if she didn't even pretend to say "no you don't have to do that, we'll split it", that would be the last date.

Note to women: When we act in the 'correct' fashion, we're just being professional, and it isn't the real us. Like another guy said, we just want mutuality. We hope that the relationship will settle to a point where you understand us and vice versa.
If we start 'giving back to the relationship' then it's most likely a thank you for letting us be with you, get to know you more, and all that other stuff.
