yes. it's an expensive, gross and disgusting habit. i don't get why you would want to smoke in the 1st place. just pick up a spliff instead.

If I were your grandma I would give ecigs a try. Electronic cigarettes to the smoker is exactly like smoking only without all the poisons that come from smoking.

If he knows you smoke, why is he with you, if he doesn't like it
Something you should know about smoking, smoking does a great majority of its damage silently and usually the results will show up very suddenly all at once. If I were your dad I would try transitioning to electronic cigarettes if he doesn't plan on quitting smoking.
He probably tried the wrong type of ecig. He should give something like Vuse or Vcigs a try. And also it depends on his level of nicotine how many cigarettes he smokes a day. Some people will require a higher level of nicotine to stop. Some are able to quit with 18 ml or 1.8 nicotine. The levels go all the way up to 30 something or 3? Also the steam from the cigarettes can take some time to get use to probably a day or so. I was able to quit smoking in one day and I've smoked over 40 years.
If he smokes a pack a day or more he'll probably requires something like 2.4 also referred to as 24 ml. If I were him I would give something like Vuse a try. I'm not a fan of Vuse because their cartridges don't equal a pack like they say they do. But at least they are smooth exactly like a cigarette and he'll know for sure they work. Then from there all he would have to do is find something that's equal to Vuse. It's a lot cheaper to vape than smoking to. Usually a refill bottle will cost anywhere from $5.00 on up depending where get the bottle and they'll last in most cases two weeks. Compare that to regular cigarettes.

Well, you should quit although, I have to admit, it is a bit of a turn on.

Also my dad is 50 and has been smoking for more than 16 years and he is not dead. He's actually very healthy
You should quit for everybody.
