A few months ago, a coworker and I really hit it off. The problem was, I was in a long distance relationship at the time. It became complicated- we would text and it was clear he wanted to be with me, but I kept refusing. At some point my relationship ended but my coworker ended up being too busy to follow up with me.
Fast forward to now, we are still in touch and he still says he wants to be with me. However, the last time we saw each other, we agreed that what I had done was essentially cheating. He said he understood why I did it, but that he would have trouble trusting me. He told me that maybe I needed time to figure myself out. He left me at that and since then has not responded to me or reached out to me.
What's with these games? He was so intent on getting with me, even urging me to break up my relationship, and then all of a sudden, he's distanced himself.
