Why is my guy friend/crush distancing himself from me?

So recently I became friends with a guy and we immediently had physical attraction... their we're times we hung out, went to movies, texted and the whole 9 yards... however recently he became so distant from me. He told me in a conversation on the phone recently that he can't get into a relationship because of his job and he travels too much but he was thinking about starting a relationship in the summer... he wasn't talking to me directly but indirectly ( I think) ... However he is starting to be kind of rude and distant... like not texting me and stuff. There will be weeks I haven't heard from him. I almost feel like I did something wrong or he just not that into me anymore.. Why do guys do that because this happen to me before but everyone just tell me its the guys I choose not me smh... is there anyway I can gain him back?

If you didn't do anything wrong then you don't have to stress about it, the problem might be with your friend/crush maybe he noticed he might be developing feeling for you however he may or may not be ready for a relationship as stated in your description, that explains his behavior not texting being rude and such or he sees you just a friend and is not ready to be in a relationship with you.

It is hard to explain, but I am sure that over a period of time, you will be able to tell if someone is avoiding you out of interest or non-interest.
