He says he wants to make me happy?

We live in different states and talk everyday over text for the past 5 months now. He keeps bringing up that he wants to make me happy cause "thats his job". I asked what kind of job is that and said the one that makes you smile of course.

Why would he try and make me happy? Im just a chick his met online, we both like each other and a relationship is out of the question

I think that he likes you and when you like someone you just naturally feel like you want to make the other person happy cause this would make you happy as well. Maybe he's taking this thing more seriously than you do, if you think you're just flirting but you're never gonna get together you should tell that him saying "i want to make you happy" confuses you.

Thats what I think too, he likes me a lot more than I like him and fear his taking it too seriously. As I said I dont know if anything can come from this (i. e a relationship) so Im not why he would bother trying to make me happy.

I do like him too but Im just taking things as they come :)

He seems to really like me though; initiates majority of the time, points out a lot of things he likes about my personality, pulls me up when Im feeling down, reassures me whenever necessary.

He likes being a big flirt I know that, he wants to "charm" me but Im not sure what his intentions are

well true, sometime you do really start to like someone even if it was just flirting at the start, i really started liking this one girl too whom i met on fb but we were in different countries not just states lol if you think he does like you maybe just go with it maybe it can turn into something :)

Yeah I was flirting with him constantly for 3 months. I asked for his number and from there we started to get to know each other abit. The mind games stopped recently as his told me he wants to meet me one day. He hasn't brought it up since but hopefully something good comes out of it 😊

Actually we had a talk about it yesterday; he admitted to liking me and he really cares about me. I said the same and he said he was hesitate because of the distance as its not ideal. He also said he just wants me to be happy and to not be upset. He still wants to keep talking to me and he will love and support me always. In his words: "Until the day comes Ill love you from here"

What if that day never comes 😭
