What is your idea of a romantic date?

Let's pretend that in this scenario you are planning a date for your SO who you have been dating for a while already. Where would you go? What would you do? What do you consider romantic?

(I would love some female feedback on this if any woman would be so kind).

I would rather plan a weekend get away with her at home or maybe in a cabin. Give her enough details so that she isn't under prepared and doesn't make plans on top of mine, but few enough that she can be surprised. Give her a home cooked meal by candle light with a few flowers. Tell her how much I love her. Give her a massage while we watch some of our favorite movies/shows and then just cuddle with her under a blanket.

While I was cuddling with her, I would ask her if she wants to talk about anything in particular. I don't push it, and if she rejects my offer, I make sure she knows that the offer stands. I make sure to hug her tight express tell her all of the things I love about her.

If we have a sexual relationship, I would make it very romantic with candles and rose petals. I would take it nice and slow, and do the special little things that she like or even take suggestions on something new. I wouldn't force it on her though.

The next morning I would make her breakfast in bed. Maybe make her laugh by saying that I made her this super special breakfast (that I "totally" didn't buy from Denny's or McDonalds or some other restaurant).

That day I would take her out on the town to get a nice meal, do a fun activity that she likes. Maybe skating or dancing. Maybe have her get dolled up so that I can parade her around because I am the luckiest fella in the world because she chose me!

I would make it corny and sappy, but in a way that shows that I am thinking of her and love her dearly.

The next date I would like to see her do the same thing for me to see what she would like.

Personally, i would invite her to a beautiful park to have great conversation. Picnic is optional. We would talk and fall into peaceful nap in each other arms. Later that day, I would take her to an art museum and subtly suggest that she is more beautiful and deeper than any picture in the gallery.

Optional: if I wanted to go all out with the expenses, I would end the night with dinner at the tallest building in the area (estaurant or hand made dinner on a rooftop) An hour before sunset. Then end that part of the night with some great drinks and comversation at a ba

For a dream date where anything is possible, I would like to go to back to one of the waterfalls he took me to once it's dark out and no one is around and he'll find that I've already hung white lights around a little space with a blanket and cushions and a picnic basket and we can sit there and enjoy a meal of his favorite foods in a gorgeous, secluded spot. Just us. And when we're done with the food we can lean back all cuddled up and look at the sky and listen to the water.

The most romantic date I've been on is very dear to my heart. I made it very clear beforehand that I was interested, so because he had no money for a date he gave me a coupon for free ice cream and asked me to go with him. We held hands the entire walk there yet we only purchased the one cone. He gave it to me, but I insisted that we share. So we walked in a park passing our coconut ice cream back and forth until we got to a park bench and cuddled a few hours.

My SO, romantic to him is queso and chips while we hangout on the couch and watch movies all night. He is big on social events or mingling and he hates most restaurant food and we can't really have tickle fights or talk in a movie theater. So just some added perks on our night at home

I usually think of simple things to do. Like going for a walk in a park during the autumn when the fall leaves are red and orange. Or even not going anywhere other than my place where I cook dinner and set a nice table for 2 with candles and soft music and wine. And have the 2 place setting right next to each other instead of across from each other.

Medium: I'd say a trip to the beach for the weekend (I'm in CO) and then do what she wants without hesitation.
