Who should have Final Say in a relationship?

In a relationship, there are times when the two partners can not agree. For example, perhaps you are buying a new couch for the living room... one wants a black couch, the other prefers a white couch. Or you are going on a major vacation... one person wants to cruise, another wants to road trip.

In these cases, where there is no easy way to compromise... where a final say is needed... Who should have that final say. Generally speaking, should it be the guy or the girl... if you could ONLY pick one answer, either the guy or the girl, which would it be?

The GUY should have the final say.

The GIRL should have the final say.

Wouldn't pick, based on the fact we both have our own opinions and generally one feels more strongly on a particular issue and is willing to compromise more to get it.

Having a specific gender decide everything may work for some, but for the majority of long term relationships in this century it's simply not realistic nor preferable so I haven't voted 😊

Neither gets final say based on sex/gender that is madness. I you are after final say and aren't considering logic as an option, whatever gender/sex you are should not get the final say. Do carpenters only use oak trees for chairs? or farmers only feed thier bulls apples because they are bulls? Don't ask foolish questions.

And who are you to determine that for another couple? It's a simple question, no reason to get your balls in a knot. For some couples and some people, one person does make the final say.

You really need help. Feel free to do some research on Dominant/submissive relationships and educate yourself. Feel free to look into normal relationships, where often one partner is more of a decision maker then another. If you can't answer the question as presented, then you should have not bothered answering at all. Not everyone conforms to your beliefs.

Excuse me? I very specifically said in the question that you can ONLY pick one or the other. If you can't pick one or the other, then the question is NOT applicable to you.
