Guys, Am I single because I'm ugly?

So I'm 24 years old I've been told I have a wonderful personality that I'm honest and trustworthy. I'm different then other women and what not. I get friend zoned all the time people always ask me for advice on women or life. I've never been on a date or asked out. I'm fat and I believe this is my problem. I'm attending the gym hoping to lose weight so I won't be so ugly

I'm sorry if this is brutally honest but if people generally agree that you have a good personality but they're never attracted to you, then it's likely your physical appearance that's the problem. I've seen polls that point to being overweight as commonly the biggest turn off for people. It may also have to do with details like how you dress/present yourself. I like your initiative and self awareness though! I wish you luck in your journey to lose weight :)

I don't blame people for not liking me because I'm fat I'm not attracted to heavier people myself. Me being fat is the only thing I can think of why people don't like me. I just gotta lose weight and test the theory

you can only be ugly as a person if both the physical appearance and personality are ugly. losing weight will help to attract guys and boost your self confidence, but to rule yourself out as plain ugly is too harsh. work on it, I'm sure with your good-natured personality and changes to your diet/lifestyle, you'll be able to attract someone who makes you happy.

No... I have had offer by girls (date) and girls have made it obvious there interested in me. Either my expectations are to high... or I like being a creepy lone wolf personality type. Usually still being single beyond 18 its usually a you issue meaning its something that you are doing wrong.
