OlderAndWiser, we're attracted to who we are attracted. Many people have weight issues. Personal preferences are valid. Attractiveness is a vitally important component in a relationship. Bravo ! Well done !
If they're willing to do something about their weight yes. But if they continued growing, i'll them grow out of my world. Looks usually fade away but you would want to at least see the same person you initially met not their fat twin
It depends. It's a case by case sort of scenario. If it were a relationship where me and the guy have been together for many many years and we were married and we had kids I would without a doubt stay i would not give two shits how much weight he has gained. I mean I'd make sure his healthy mentally and physically but if he is and he isn't at risk of diabetes or a heart attack and all the other stuff that comes with weight gain i wouldn't make it a big deal about it.

But if we weren't in a serious relationship like marriage with children, then I'd be a little less lenient. But like I said it's a case by case problem what if he gained weight because of stress or serious loss in his life or because he just doesn't have time to workout anymore. It all depends on the cause and what he thinks about it and he approaches it. He'll have my full support in whatever way he approaches his weight gain just as long as he doesn't change as a person becoming more lazy and spending too much money on take away cause then that's a problem for me because it goes beyond weight gain and stress or whatever.
Personally I'm not attracted to overweight men, I have in the past dated what I would consider 'chubby' men but my attraction for them was usually made up for by some other aspect such as their personality and characteristics that really pulled me in.
Relationships are never a straight path they always have speed bumps and roundabout and traffic lights. If one of the obstacles was weight gain and the relationship fell apart because of that then I doubt that it would have had substance to begin with if you get what I'm saying.
Probably leave them once they start gaining weight, yes. I myself take great care of my body, I work out regularly to stay lean and healthy. I expect my SO to do the same.
No. I would want to help them lose weight. If I have been dating them long enough for them to have gained a significant amount of weight, then I am probably deeply invested in the relationship emotionally.
If they got so fat and I had to take care of them then yes. But that’s if they got fat from eating all day

I made a misake choosing. I meant to choose " prefer a partner who is not overweight but I would never leave them because of weight gain, unless they gained 50 pounds or more and refused to try to lose it"
This isn't being shallow. If a man who doenst care for himself, how can he care for his partner?

No that wouldn't happen because I will tell them they are getting way to big and I'll help them to get back to the normal weight.
Being honest, you don't know me, you cannot have the right to judge my desitions without even knowing what I think. But any way, I don't have to prove you anything. Think whatever you want honey 😘
I would tell her that if she knows me, she knows that her physical appearance is important; if she cares about me, she would make her appearance more of a priority. What if I quit my job and didn't care about finding another job? Would I expect her to stay with me? NO.
No the job one is more reasonable and easier to address because if u have six kids then u need to be able to keep them alive and if you don’t have a job then you can’t keep them alive. Y’all have a life together, you made ur vows and ur just gonna leave them like that? I mean if u had been dating for like a year or something... well that’s more understandable
Wife can go to work. It's just a matter of she married you with one set of expectations and now you're not living up to those expectations: oh well, she'll just have to get used to it!

If they were obese, yes.

Seeking a potential partner isn't about what they look like but who they are.
You said we love especially for her personality and sol ok im with you. now do you think that someone have good personality don't want… [+]
I just say yes lol. Mostly because if she doesn't take care for her own health, she wouldn't care my children's healthy either
Let’s be honest, that is not because you’d break up with her. These are common cop-outs men use.

If she gained the weight but refused to do anything about it hell ya its over but if your trying you deserve a chance.
i would never be with a fat guy, never
What if u had 6 six kids and were married for 10 years?
I would tell her that if she knows me, she knows that her physical appearance is important; if she cares about me, she would make her appearance more of a priority. What if I quit my job and didn't care about finding another job? Would I expect her to stay with me? NO.
How tall are you and how much do you weigh?
5’6” 160 pounds
You would really leave her after 10 years over weight gain?
Job is different
Of course it's different! And not very easy to address, right?

Wife can work but who says you can live off only one pay check. It’s the same circumstance I guess but one is significantly more important.
If you say so.
He has to lose the weight. I'll find a way to make him lose it
This question is oddly familiar

What does a guy gotta do to get featured around here?
What question or myTake do you want featured?
All of them of course, I'm tired of being reserved to the shadows
Follow me and I can then pull up a list of your questions.
Not gonna lie, it'd matter to me
No need to lie. It's okay to feel the way that you feel. It is a normal response!
I cannot lose to a lady in sumo... hence never
I would only leave him if he had no motivation to do something with his weight
