What does love feel like for a guy?

I’m very curious on how love feels for a guy, because I know men aren’t as emotional as women, and I know a big part of love to guys is attraction. But genuine love, like if your girl gained weight, had a child, got depressed and stopped taking care of herself and a attractive women came along, are you still gonna feel love?
As a women I wouldn’t ever leave my partner for looks, money, anything because I genuinely love them but I hear of men leaving there partners for someone they find more attractive. I want a legit honest answer… today I literally saw a comment how someone would leave their wife and kids for Ariana grandes 🐱 so I just question is love even real?

Actually a bit tricky question because it´s hard to describe something that I rarely talk about. From a guy´s point I would say love can is a great feeling and it can be also genuine love. There are just different things that come into play starting with what makes a guy fall for a girl. Because I would say that guy that falls for her a woman mostly because physical attributes will move on the moment she loses her beauty and he finds someone more attractive. There is something true that though for all guys that guys fall for women they find physically attractive first and later get to know the character. For the rest of the guys I would say love is less of a feeling that is there no matter what but of a dynamic. It´s part of life and about sharing life and living life together so if she stopped doing that. I think a lot of guys would get frustrated and because they assume that´s a problem and so they try to solve the problem and now both get into fights and the relationship is over.
For guys love is mostly about having a physical and emotional connection. I´d say guys love girls because they are different to us and we realise that. Here comes an issue in to place that girls often assume a lot more than they say. Guys aren´t born womanisers some of us understand women right away many grow up with little information so we don´t know much about women.
Besides that we want girls to have a good time with us. (Not talking about sadists here) That includes anything from just spending time together, doing stuff or having sex, if she feels I feel good. It could also be that he opens a door for her not because he thinks she can´t do it herself he just wants to make life easier for her. I think a lot of guys would have no problem buying tampons or whatever for a girl on a period but they don´t do it since they don´t want to seem weird or don´t know what to buy. That´s why when a woman talks about a problem with a guy he just wants to solve the problem since a gone problem makes all happy, right?

I don't know what it truly feels like sadly. I thought I was in love at some points in my life but it turned out that wasn't the case. They either didn't feel what I felt about them or moved on from me (and ironically after dating/being in a relationship with me the each found their life partner go figure).

I would love to truly feel love for a woman and receive it in return I believe I would cherish it and hold her heart close to mine whenever things got tough. So I don't know if I can fully answer but I will try. For me love is finding yourself smiling when near her or when she pops into your mind when you are far. Essentially thinking of her and her well being the kind where even if you had a hell of a day you would leave that baggage at the door to protect her smile. The woman when you look at her you see marriage, children a future. That kind of feeling you both have where even a disheartening day or event can't fully bring you down when you have one another and both of us are weathering the storm. At least that's what I believe love feels like for me anyway.

For further insight into your question. On the Internet you will see and hear all kinds of things meaning you can see the best and worst of people. I believe when it comes to looks many people don't have issues with natural aging a bit more weight, a bit more weathered and all those things that come from getting older. However, if a partner just gave up on taking care of themselves; no more working out, no more watching what they eat or eat mostly bad foods or big portions, cut sex off for most if not all of the time even patient men who care about their significant others would wonder if she doesn't respect herself does she respect me?

Now if she had a illness that caused these factors that would be a different story. I would still love a woman no matter how many years got added to her equation. Because she is still her I just believe that there are different factors at work for those who drift from their partners some do it for selfish reasons others unintentionally due to additional factors and many more combinations exist.

I will say you have a very good outlook on love never forget that and I hope you find a great guy who really makes you happy and you two forge a strong bond of love. Because yes I do truly believe despite everything that love is real so go out there find it and cherish it!

True love is something that grows slowly over time. Lust is hormonal and quick. When a guy feel true love, he feels her emotions. He knows her pain, desire, frustration and joy, and her feelings become much more significant and important than his own. She energizes and motivates him, not because she is pushing him but because he cares that deeply about how his choices are impacting her. This can be the most amazing feeling a man can feel... even more amazing than his own personal accomplishments. This is where he belongs and has purpose.

The touchy part is when she gains weight, gets depressed and stops taking care of herself (when this is based on her choices rather than something out of her control). No one likes feeling self-care was only used to attract us and is seen as a waste of time and energy once the connection has been established. Bait and switch only results in bitterness and resentment. It can be very hard to love someone who shows no self-love or self-respect. We want our partner to see the value in what we see in her, and if she chooses to constantly be negative and minimize whatever we appreciate, it can be very hard to hold onto our feelings toward her. We don't want to let go of those feelings, but it can feel like we're being slapped every time we get near. All we're looking for is a legitimate effort... not perfection... and definitely not excuses.

Girls aren’t perfect tho we have times where we are moody, we don’t feel like getting dolled up, or we just get lazy every now & then… but during those times would you be a man and stay real to your wife if an attractive women came along. I get mostly what you mean, I just see so many men leave when things get hard or when there’s temptations

Guys who are quick to give up and move on weren't worth holding onto in the first place. Look at it as their loss, not yours. Don't attempt to hold onto that which isn't worth holding onto.

I’m not in a relationship with her (yet)🤞but I am in love with my best friend. To me it feels like warmth. Like imagine warmth being internalised, like comforting and safe. That’s how I feel about her when I’m with her or even just thinking about her. It feels like the most ‘right’ emotion I’ve ever felt, with no doubts Or unsureness. Ever since I’ve met her I’ve just felt an overwhelming sense of peace and happiness, that is just constantly within me even during sad or hard times. Little tiny things about her make me happy, like how she eats pancakes with tomatoe sauce or even just picturing her laugh. And I feel a wave of panic when I think about something bad ever happening to her. I catch myself relating everything to her like if I hear someone talking about something stupid, I always make a mental note to tell her later so we can laugh about it together. She’s always in my mind and I admire her, love her, enjoy her company, get hard for her and never want to leave her side all at the same time. It’s overwhelming but in the best way possible. Sorry for the rant I just wanted to see if I could try to put into words what it feels like. I feel like this isn’t even capturing half of it though.

i'll admit physical attraction is implied and needed. I noticed that, if a girl has a beautiful smile, she's already in my mind. If she's also beautiful when she smile (i like making people laugh, especially people i like to spend time with), then it's great.

If she's also cheerful, which is probably one of the best characteristics a girl can have (in my opinion)... well you know. But i need a very strong bond first... i have some girl friends, but we simply hang out as friends... if i feel like i can do funny and stupid stuff with a girl (like ordering a coffe at Starbucks saying hardly understandable names, or doing simply funny things together), then it's way more likely we'll have a bond (or, at least, i'll feel something)

but ofc if a girl i really like gained weight (i actually find curvy and slightly chubby girls very attractive, honestly), stopped taking care of herself... literally anything... even had a bad accident (i really hope not) that let her on a wheelchair or any other bad thing, i'd still feel that feeling for her.
