My girlfriend cheated on me with her boss. Is it reasonable to ask her that she find a new job and sever all contact with him if we are to work on us?

So I can see why'd you ask that. and tune out the people saying leave her, people make mistakes, and yes even devastating ones like cheating. I never would and us honorable human beings wouldn't but its honorable that you're willing to try to fight for the girl and the relationship you deem worth saving.

Thanks man I appreciate it. It's already been three month's since I found out and the anxiety and stress are killing me. I've resisted most of the urges to act and be controlling. Last Friday, I broke down and looked through her phone. It was the first time I violated her privacy in any way. Her phone was clean no text or message on any platform at all. It pissed me off because I knew she at least should have had some work texts from him. I figured that she simply deletes them. And I created a spoof email address and sent the CEO of the the company and email say that one of his managers was fucking a subordinate. Which I had promised her I wouldn't do. I told her a day later what I had done because I felt bad that I had voilated her privacy and trust. It ended up in a big argument with a plea that she took for an unreasonable ultimatum that she find a new job or we were over.

I hope it works out for you but in my opinion.. if she is cheating on you she doesn’t want to be with you or perhaps some deep seated insecurity issues.. either way there may be nothing left to salvage !.. good luck though

Why would you want to stay with a cheat? Once trust is broken it is hard to get it back and you will always be suspicious from then on of any doings of her. Cut your losses and let the boss have her cheating ass. If Karma is working he will dump her after by cheating with another employee.

Funny you bring up karma I found out that she cheated the day after it happened because we ran into a friend of hers in the store that she said she had gone shopping with the day before while she was actually fucking her boss. It was appairent that she had lied and that they hadn't seen each other in a while when her friend said "hey how are you it's been forever since I've seen you."

She has been very good to me and our relationship is very complicated.

If you both want to work to save the relationship, then what you're asking is a logical step. The boss will have expectations, and probably demands. If she doesn't comply, she's gone anyway. So she should leave before she's pushed. That is if she's committed to resolving the problem.
