Communication In Casual Relationships🤔?

I’m talking to this guy who doesn’t want a relationship. It’s been a month and the other day was the first time we had sex. That day we’re together he ask if I wanted to know more about him. I did so I ask more questions but some I already knew answers to because we text or called each other like every other day. But up to a few days ago he never really asked me any personal questions. He said he doesn’t like texting he rather call or talk face to face. On that same night we slept together he asked me all kinds of questions threw out the night. Some were about if I still have a relationship with my child’s father and does my child’s father still want to hookup. I told him no and I don’t speak to my child’s father. I quickly changed the subject. When the night was over he kissed me on the cheek said to text when I got home. I did then we talk about our night both said goodnight. I told him we’re just casual why would I want to know anything else about him. Or him wanting to know about me. There is other things we can talk about besides yourself. I thought casual sex is just about sex an not your personal life. Do I have the wrong idea about a casual relationship. Why bother to ask questions when u don’t really care anyway?
