I think women are definitely more body shamed. However I also think they’re more accepted with being overweight. I’ve seen bigger women in more relationships then I have seen bigger men
Well... it seems like women because of people like Ashely Graham, but the reason they're popular in the first place is because women are judged more often and more harshly on their bodies, meaning it's typically less acceptable for women to be overweight, and therefore more acceptable for men to be overweight.
No one cares if a man is overweight. Obese, maybe, but not overweight. If a woman puts on 10 lbs even if she's still in the "normal" weight range, she'll be asked if she's pregnant or people will ask if she's alright and let's hope she's not dating (online especially) because then she'll have men ditch her 5 minutes after meeting her. Yeah, that happened to me. I am 5'5" and was 145lbs at the time. I was ditched 3x right after the guy met me. They all said I was too fat, no joke.
None of the above. Fat people should be and are shamed but fat women for some unknown reason have the media on their side. Well it doesn't matter since to the average man a skinny girl is attractive and fat is very much unattractive.

@LLYN-95 Sorry miss, but he IS speaking the truth. The whole BBW and anti-fat shaming is is a big thing. Fat women DO have the media on their side. Hence why companies such as Calvin Klein or Primark portray fat women as "models" instead of in-shape models. More guys would love to date more skinny girls, however, it's often that they are able to get with the bigger women since it's harder to get the skinny ones. Because slim-fit women are highly praised and they know they got options. So from a numbers perspective, it's harder for the average male to get with a beautiful slim-fit woman, and so he gets with the bigger ones. So far your entire comment is based on emotions. Typical behavior when someone is a slave to their FEELZ and isn't intellectually capable to come up with a valid counter-argument.

Woman are trying to glorify it now. I don't get it... if gain a little extra weight I know its me and I'm the one who needs to solve it I never blame other people because to me that sounds absolutely idiotic.
I think men get away with it better but society at large (at least Western Civilization) frowns upon not being accepting of zaftig women. But society at large can kiss my ass. It does a lot of ridiculous things.
Men can get away with it. Women can't as far as I am concerned. But men need to understand too that they can be a turn off lie a woman who is really obese.
My X asked me if I felt she was getting fat I reassured that loved her the way she was but perhaps we could eat more healthy ( I didn't know. She was pregnant at the time ) She turned to me and said so you do think I'm fat

I think right now it’s more acceptable to be overweight for women, especially with the thick fade. I remember before Covid, I would see big women in the gym that would choose to get bigger than slim down by focusing more on squats than cardio.
"thick" is "slim but has fat in all the right places", not what we typically think of as overweight
@mistixs I agree with you but I think the chunky girls try to focus more on getting bigger than losing weight because it’s easier to lift weights and eat more than eating less and doing cardio. I noticed that these girls focus on getting a bigger ass and thicker thighs.
