Too much added stress and bullshit. Women are already difficult enough to deal with and now you're adding a brat, a baby daddy and all the nonsense that comes along with it? Nah.
Right. A woman could have a heart of gold but dealing with her is like herding cats at some point. And that's the best case scenario in early stages of a relationship. Kids just makes it worse.
they’re risky in a lot of way, she’s obviously comfortable having an oops baby why wouldn’t she have another one. also in certain states if a woman and her kid live with u for a certain amount of time and the kids considers u daddy u have to start paying for them even if it’s not your child.
My experience was the father was still around and he could be quite toxic. The children never really warmed to me probably because of him. Became to stressy for me so I ended it.
You don't date a single mom, if you are not a single father. The reason is simple: parental expectations. It's something a single person, with no kids, will not ubderstand.

When children are in the mix its an entirely different relationship. The fun part of it, before the kids are born is bypassed and you immediately start right in with the entire relationship being about kids... and somebody else's kids at that. No time for romance. It's all about the kids. Not fun for a new relationship.
Avoiding is a mistake. Mainly because the man will eventually get sick of the woman and it makes sense to transition into dating a lady's child when the child reaches the age of consent. So a thinking man will seek out single moms. :)
Just because woody Allen wasn't jailed (which he should have been) doesn't mean it's not wrong. And I'm pretty sure grooming children is a federal crime. Is that the kind of hill you want to die on anyway?
@Kas19 I think you are confusing the children Woody was accused of loving... there was a very young one and then a teenage one. He married the teen, not the toddler. :)
As fucked up as it sounds, a lot of abusive mothers do have that mentality, in regards to whoring their daughters out in order to hold onto a guy they like.
4. What if I end up liking the kid, loving even, and then we break and I never see the kid again?
There's plenty of reasons. No disrespect to single moms but I will not feel guilty for not wanting to date a single mom. If I had a kid I wouldn't blame a women for not wanting to deal with that.
Because they already have proven to have poor decision making in getting pregnant by a man that wasn't going to stick around. I also have no desire to raise another man's kids or be second best to them.
Surely there are some guys who are delighted at the opportunity to have a ready made family, and can afford to provide adequate support. Don't generalise - I recently saw something from a guy who prefers small breasts!

Its just simple. Why choose a single mom (extra responsibilities, financial burden etc), when there are plenty of awesome single girls around?
My experience was the father was still around and he could be quite toxic. The children never really warmed to me probably because of him. Became to stressy for me so I ended it.

And, it's quite possible that she's not even a good mom which is why she's so focused on dating when she has young kids instead of just being a mom.
I dated a woman with kids once. I told her I would take her to the aquarium here which is a really nice one.
She asked me if its okay if she brings her two kids... uhhhh yeah... what am I supposed to say no?
When we got there I was looking for the swimming with the sharks exhibit so we could drop them off there while we toured the rest of the exhibits.
No luck. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This video will explain it all:

That sounds illegal and gross.
@Kas19 It might be considered gross but it's not illegal. Ask Woody Allen.

@supercutebutt. I don’t think that happens a lot unless he’s a really sick pervert
Adults shouldn't be preying on underage girls/boys. That is all. He was accused of a lot more than that.
@Kas19 They shouldn't? Oh ok.
I puked a little bit in my mouth
Sounds like someone have seen to much porn 😉
😂😂😂

Ughhhh that is so gross
1. I'm not ready to co parent.
2. I'm 23.
3. I wouldn't be her highest priority.
4. What if I end up liking the kid, loving even, and then we break and I never see the kid again?

Personally for me, their ex will always be in the picture in her life and the kid doesn't belong to me.
Because they're taking on the responsibility of more than just the date.
No amount of pussy is really worth that, for the average guy.
Because they want their partner to be the mom of THEIR children, and not to be some girl's walking daycare.
Because why should I foot the bill for someone's else's kids.
I would date a single mom but only if she wanted to have kids from me in the future
I don't meet many; if someone is with their kids I assume she's taken. Besides, it complicates things.
Thought some people don't mind. A friend married a woman with two kids and they all get along fine, even with her ex.
Because they already have proven to have poor decision making in getting pregnant by a man that wasn't going to stick around. I also have no desire to raise another man's kids or be second best to them.
What if he died?
@loves2learn then refer to the 2nd part of my paragraph where i said I have no desire to raise another man's kid or be second best to it
K. Thanks.

I avoid them as I don't want to burden their already hectic lives with all my issues, I'm pretty sure this life is for one and only one person
Guys don't want to raise another man's children, except in rare occasions.
Single moms never can make the time for me to setup a date.
