How do you get them to believe you're serious? When you don't even know what you want but you want to date and he wants more and he's NOT playing. He is 100% on no jokes. I want fun. If he had fun with other girls why try to be serious with me. I honestly don't know what to say because I never hid that I didn't want really serious then. He told me not to play with him. I honestly want to tbh but he wants serious. He's dancing with females and I'm kinda jealous but he wants more from me. He didn't answer his phone for weeks when I didn't hide that I'm completely unsure. I want him and I've never been jealous in my life. I'm like what's up with this guy? He wants a commitment from me. I just got out of a bad relationship. He cut me off when if I didn't agree to his all in status. I wanted things to be laid back. I like him I do but ALL IN whyy?

From your account, I understand that you just want to have "fun" but in which way? You leave it open to misunderstanding.

He is the serious type of person and you are not. This will never work out because you are fundamentally different in one of the most important aspect of any relation.

If your kind of fun involves being intimate, then obviously you are not going to achieve anything with him. He is the type of person that takes a relation very seriously while you don't really. He does not want to be hurt and he is cautious about whom he wants to be in a relation.

The fact that you show that you are the fun person, you also indicate that you are the "easy" type of person and to him, that is a total turn off.

From whatever you've mentioned, it seems that guy is really serious about you. So if you think that you will never get serious about it then don't even try, you'll just break his heart giving all those false hopes.
And if you think that you genuinely like him but scared that it won't work out, then you both can take it slow and see how it goes.

He doesn't want to get hurt either. That's why he wants you to be sure about this. He wants you but as in 100%, not a part of it.
