Guys, is it normal to lose interest in the women of your own race?

It happened to some of my friends (we are white).

One of my friends made a bet with me in the past that once I started dating Asian girls I would lose interest in white women. I thought it was absurd since I like women for their personality and attractiveness, and it's individual and subjective character, you know...

Then I saw it's not an uncommon thing. I'd say my white male friends prefer #1 Asian women, #2 Latina women, and then white women and black women almost in a tie.

I lost the bet, by the way.

As a female, I can say I’ve never found myself attracted to males of my own race/ethnicity. I’m an Asian/African mix and I can tell you that my type has always been prominently white males…with a slight weakness for a hot ginger 😅 I’ve been with my boyfriend for almost 3 years now, he’s Romanian and honestly he’s everything I could ever ask for 🥺

Personally I don’t like some Indian/Asian culture because of how they can be SO hell bent on gossip and that one mistake can be a “shame on the family” yadda yadda yadda and I’m a Christian so there’s that slight conflict too.

I also don’t find myself attracted to most black men, even though I like the openness in their (men and womens) speech…I find the most brutally honest things hilarious and the culture/food is honestly just wow! I just don’t like lips larger than mine and I’m uncomfortable at the thought of dealing with a WAY larger than average manhood…. So yeah, don’t worry bro. We all have our preferences 🤣

I'm just not interested in women who think and behave in certain ways, and unfortunately, as a white man, I find a lot more women of my own race think and behave in those ways.
