There are so many couples who start off with "Ooh, it's so romantic and sexy to sleep together!"
But then at some point that turns into "fuck, it's hot and I can't get comfortable and they snore and it's not like this is quality time for us anyway and I just want to sleep!"
So, yeah, I wouldn't be too worried about it. It doesn't mean you're breaking up or anything.
I just saw a YouTube video the other day where guys were saying that to their girlfriends as a prank to get a reaction.
I think it is a sign that someone is too immature for a relationship when they do that stuff.

we go through stages and like that…to sleep in diff. places. If he stays for more than 2 weeks.. months… then try to find a bed that comfortable … problem solved.
Sometimes people just want to be alone for a little while. If you guys mostly sleep together then maybe he wants to see what it feels like to sleep alone again.

Maybe you snore like hell. Or maybe you're farts are too intoxicating lol. Or maybe you talk a lot at night. There's could be many reason. Maybe you're bed is not as comfortable and he wants it to be
