What would you do if your son or daughter dated one of your very close/good friends?

Let's assume your son or daughter is at least 24 or 25. How would you feel if your son or daughter started dating a super close/good friend of yours? How would you react? Would you be OK with it? Would you be happy? Would you be upset? Would you support their relationship or not? How would your relationships with them change (if at all)? What else would you do/think if that happened?

Id be ok with it. Its their romantic relationship not mine, it doesn't change the fact a good friend of mine found love, and stops being my friend.

I'd be totally weirded out if the friend knew my kid in diapers. Less so if it's a fairly new friendship.

Hypothetically, it would depend upon when they met. If the friend had known the child since he or she was a child that would scream "groomer" to me. If they were both adults I would not care.
