Yep! I tend to do that in every new relationship that I have been in. Only with my current partner, I'm still staring at my phone waiting for them to respond... as I stand in the grocery store isle waiting for her to tell me which kind of cheese she needs for whatever she is making... no I'm not bitter...

I am so into this site that when I notice a near live chat in opinions, I just keep on refreshing the website to see the updates.

But that has very rarely happened with me in real life lol.😅

I dont have the time or the mental capacity to do that. No. I am constantly stressed about 300 things at once. I can't add another one to the list, especially something I deem not as important as the rest

Yes I had that a few times in the past but it always ends up in disappointment sooner or later when you dont get a reply back fast enough. Better put the phone down and find some distraction so that you won't get a negativ emotions when it takes a little to long for your liking. Those are the small things that can end up in a unnesecarry argument with your loved one

Can’t remember how fast text msg’s were in the oughts. Had my Nokia ringtone around 2003ish. Upgraded to a fancier PDA phone after. Don’t remember the three little dots people are obsessing over now.

I actually turned those off on my phone. You can turn off “tell others your texting” feature in settings.

I've been there it sucks especially when you know they're texting somebody else too it's just one of those things you just got to suck it up and walk away but there are the good times though where that doesn't happen
