So in the modern age many women are more independent and I was curious if this was a turn on for men or is a more submissive woman still hot for guys?

Im a submissive pleaser by nature and fear men just don’t see that as attractive anymore. Prefer strong powerful women you know. Am I doomed? Should I try bring more dominant?

I was in the kinky scene for a bit and the diversity is really what stood out to me. There are powerful male politicians who like being degraded by women all day. There are also some men who like being dominant in every circumstance; some guys are in D/s relationships in which he tells her what she can wear, eat, do, etc. 24/7. Any man could find themselves in the gray area between those two extremes. I hate to say it depends, but appearances can be deceiving. i would say no you´re not doomed. The problem I think could arise for you though is that many guys are not able the power you give to them.
Personally I think a strong independent can be a turn on especially for a more inexperienced guy because for many guys it´s hard to understand a woman´s need if she doesn´t communicate them verbally. At the same an independent woman can become a turn off because she also could come off as a rival or competitor and that´s not what a guy looks for in a relationship.

It’s like some guy getting off of a girl who is anorexic.

Real-world problems and reversing/neutralizing/ effectively combatting that, isn’t and shouldn’t be a turn off.

I think with confusion men and women would believe it’s a turn off.

I find a woman who is a submissive pleaser significantly more attractive than someone I have to fight for dominance every waking moment of home life. I get enough of that at work I don't need it at home too. I'm not interested in what a woman does or makes at work, I'm more interested if she makes my kids laugh or cry. Does the house run smoothly or is there a preventable emergency every few days? Can company come over on short notice? I want to give the woman I'm with the respect and power of control over domestic affairs, and the freedom from having to work a job and deal with customers or coworkers. Depends on what you are talking about. I love a submissive woman in the bed room. I like to have my fantasies fulfilled and all of that. But whenever we are in our everyday life I don’t need a timid woman. In France vast majority doesn't like it, they like a more strong woman (but that would submit to him when he want to in certains occasion) but they dislike women that are naturally submissive and mock them.

In others countries I don't know but hear that in America they prefer submissive women in general.

For me personally, when it comes to making important decisions that could have long lasting consequences, the woman can share her opinion, but I make those decisions. If she doesn't like it, she can leave because I would end the relationship.
