I mean think about it, men are usually expected to make the first move so women can mostly just sit back and see with who they want to talk further and who not.
but if a woman goes out of her way to initiate stuff, i do think that she likes you a lot. It can be anything like initiating touch, convos, or asking if you are single out of the blue.

I rejected a woman who murmered if I will go out with her because she said it like a creep as if id jump at the opportunity of being spoken to like a peace of shit and I couldnt get out of the store soon enough with her pointless follow up questions.
I once heard that while I was walking around with a sales woman that we looked like a couple.
Only she had no intention of taking things further once it came to getting started with processing the order as though that concluded the transaction prior to even concluding the transaction.
Needless to say she passed it on to someone else to complete because she couldnt be bothered and pretended it was important for her to be on the floor to walk to no one.
So the point of a woman engaging with interest can infact by psychotic in its own action. Where as we both know that woman dont make a lot of sense and do things and take actions they dont mean. Say things they dont do, ask questions to things they dont act of the concern of.
In fact there are many cheating scenarios and to quote from a comedian, there is so much porn out there, its more likely for it to fall of before running out by the time your 80, with everyone stopping production of everything as is and yet woman will be the first to tell you theyre not interested in sex.

If you have an opportunity with someone, you should be pursing it if its on your mind because obviously you have an interest in it.
No woman makes a move or expresses and interest in a man, outside of being drunk, without consideration of the man.

Doesn't necessarily mean she likes you that much, it depends on her personality.
For some women it's just natural for them to talk to everyone and initiate convos. That's just how they are.
But for other women (more introverted/reserved), going out of their way to strike up convos with some stranger is a too big of a step for them. So if they make an exception for u, it's most likely they like you.
Regarding the touching bit of your story... Well, it would depend what kind of touch that was lol.
If it's just a friendly fist bump, high 5 or shoulder part. Or if it may be more... Insinuating..

I think it's true. It's not super natural for us girls to make the first move because a lot of the time we might feel like it should be up to the guy to make the first move (plus, because it's terrifying and we're awkward sometimes). So if a girl is putting herself out there first, it's probably worth it to them.
I've been trying to be a bit more out-there and upfront instead of waiting for the guy to notice me without me putting anything out there. So far, both times I've liked a guy I've been making the first move and it has worked out pretty well.

it depends , like I am a very strange kind of guy, I am like a girl in many ways, I just will not make the first move, 90 percent of the time the girl will get so fed-up of hinting that in the end she will just grab my hand and either put it in her bra or panty and just tell me to shut up. I'd say 50/50. It really doesn't matter whether you ask or she asks. The same percentage will reject you. I know that sounds goofy. But a lot of women will make the first move just to see some guys reaction. Then if the guys responds with interest she'll treat him like HE made the first move. She really likes you or she is a slut who likes everyone and will make the first move on anything THAT moves. But most likely girls are usually not the one to make that first move. Unless she is older and has no time for games and bullshit. In that case she is strong, independent and knows what she wants.
I can't speak for other women but I have really bad anxiety so it's hard for me to talk to other people or make a move on anyone but I really really liked my boyfriend so I attempted to flirt with him whenever I gotthe chance and eventually asked him out.

Yes if a women makes the first move and most importantly says the “ I like you “ first then it’s pure guaranteed that she likes you a lot.
Since women prefer men to do this first step if they do it first then it’s a great sign.

I wouldn't assume that initiative is the same as liking me. At most I'd say it's the same as being interested and having the guts to act on that interest. In my opinion liking someone comes with time spent together when you've had the chance to actually know eachother.

I would say she is likely interested. Women tend to leave the approach to guys, so if she goes out of her comfort zone to approach, then she must be interested.
