Hung out with a girl an entire weekend, now barely any communication?

I met a girl from a dating app, she came down to my city for a weekend and we had a great time. She even texted me she made it home and will “check in time to time” She’s moving to my city in a month and said when she gets back she can’t wait to see me (both of our schedules are busy so we can’t see each other for a few weekends ahead unfortunately) She went home on Sunday, and I still have not heard back, no call or text from her. Usually a woman texts me daily or s few times s week to check in. I have not texted her since she said “I’ll check in with you time to time” I’m kinda losing interest / hurt from this already. If a week goes by and I don’t hear from her I’m gonna lose a lot of interest and/or assume she’s not that into me. What do you think? I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s other men with her in the picture sadly. I’ve been feeling pretty sad since yesterday just not heard from her at all.

I know some guys and girls play the waiting game by not calling until at least 48 hours because they do not want to look desperate or like you are their only option in dating.

Yes I’ve heard this before, I’ll just wait a little longer and reach out if she doesn’t. But I’m not gonna be the one to keep reaching out either so, I guess I’ll wait and see!

Yes I would have, but she told me she’ll be reaching out “time to time” so that tells me she is going to hit me up? I will try eventually, maybe she’s shy or something.

I’m use to the girls doing most of the work when dating them however, so I’m not trying to come across as desperate / needy or clingy either.

Not yet - I’m gonna wait on the one week mark to call her. She told me she’ll check in time to time so I feel I should wait for her. But in a few days if I don’t hear from her, I will call her for a chat / catch up.

Please don’t be a simp and make every thing a man’s fault. When a woman likes a guy she’ll let it be known, especially if a woman tells a man “I’ll reach out from time to time” that’s her already letting me know.

There’s other woman I can date, and I’d rather be alone than deal with a woman who seems low interest at the end of the day.

I have 2 kids and dated a woman for 13 years, don’t tell me about good relationship experience. All woman I’ve been with successfully keep the ball rolling / they are chasing me. Do masculine men chase woman? No, that’s called a simp.
