Replying late or not texting at all better?

Im personally still questioning myself, which one is better.. I’m into this one guy, he do initiate text first, but i would say rarely.. (But we go out on dates every week, and we call few times). However when its summer break, as expected he went silent. If i initiate to text first, he did respond fine tho not immediately but at least not half day then only he reply.

Wonder, if thats what happen to u guys, do u guys prefer him not texting first, but reply decently, or text first, but might take longer time to reply every time?

A reasonable understanding person won’t get upset.






However, here is an example of where you might as well not respond if you are the one to go through this. Or not bother responding if you’re the one doing it.








I was once texting a girl (second time we talked)






She was being more obvious she was flirting with me this time around. Told me she’s more responsive through text than IG dm’s




So we went to texting.






I ended up being the last one to text, she didn’t respond… 8 days later she messages me “hi handsome” I left her on read.

People who take a long time to respond are usually busy with their lives.


It can take me hours to even realize I’ve received a message when I’m busy at work. 🤷‍♂️

I’d rather meet irl than text a lot during the day. That way I can focus on work and projects.

It would make sense if u guys have class and frequently meet. But given that you guys are on a break and find it difficult to have same free time, then you dont have much choice but to text isn't it. Or holiday = holiday from contacting each other as well🤣

Holiday will mean less communication. But you can plan times to talk. Just don’t expect it daily. Make sense?
