This guy I'm talking to got broken up with a little over a month ago, we are kind of talking right now. How do I know if he's interested in me?

We met on BeReal like 8 months ago and we started a streak on snap back in April, and just a little over a month ago He got dumped in a bad way by his ex. Him and I have been talking more everyday rather than just snaps of the wall for our streaks. We talk and call and he ask deep questions to get to know me and he asked me what physical traits a guy needs, and I answered honestly, and he would connect it to him, for example I said good hair and he said, " I think I have good hair". I'm not sure if he's interested in me or if it's too soon for him. We haven't met in person because he goes to university on the other side of the state, but I was visiting my sister at the same university, and we were going to meet but it ended up not happening. He's told me he really likes talking to me. I've been single for over two years, and he's been ingle for a month so i don't want him to feel rushed or anything, but what can I do to know if he's actually interested in me? Or how can i make him more interested in me while being far away? I also don't want to be a rebound... I need help :((
