So there is this girl on my Facebook that we actually get a long really well and we make each other laugh through comments and some messages, like each other posts. I believe we went to high school together which I could be mistaken. But other than that we definitely don’t know each other in person, but I am kind of digging her. Should I ask her out on a date? I was going to type up a message and say “I know we don’t know each other in person, but would you like to go on a date? This is a 100% spontaneous question/meeting, and I get this might be kind of weird” or something along those lines.

I like the message you drafted - it's honest but also funny and shows you've got balls to just put it out there. As long as you respect her response either way, I say send that message.
The worst she can say is no, but she might surprise you and say yes! And then you get to see if the vibe translates in person. You never know if you don't take a chance man.
