It seems like if a girl is naturally small and skinny, they're 100% fuckable to almost any guy.

Why are so many guys automatically attracted to a skinny girl even if their face isnt attractive?

And that's okay. We all have our own 'types', but it just seems odd to me, when the last couple of women are by no means unhealthy or fat, and they can often be very pretty, but they don't get nearly as much attention as a smaller framed woman (and I've noticed this a lot too when they have an unattractive face).

Again, I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but it seems like 'skinny' women have the advantage in the dating world. I know this because I used to be very underweight, and I would get SO much attention from the opposite sex. Now I've reached a normal healthy weight and I'm much happier, and whilst I do still get attention from men, I would get a lot more when I was thin.

I'm just curious, what is this all about, why are many men automatically drawn to thin women, despite their other physical characteristics?

Not necessarily true , but most guys in general are attracted to a girls’ appearance first , most of us Guys’ are very visual when we see a beautiful girl , If she has a beautiful face and body or one or the other we will be drawn to her. I can’t speak for all
Men because every guy has his own preferences like girls’ do as well , on what they like and doesn't like. The main thing for me , other than her beauty is her personality , if she has a great heart and has a great personality, that will make her more beautiful to my eyes , she doesn’t have to be a model for say , but she has to look somewhat attractive for me to want to be physical with her in bed , Most guys’ aren’t going to stick their dick into a girl that he doesn’t find attractive, Me personally won’t even get hard , if I feel no attraction or chemistry with her. Now yes there are Guys’ that can just fuck anything , just like their are girls’ that can just have sex with anyone , so it goes both ways for the most part. but that’s a whole different story, I can’t speak for those type of people , because I am not that way what so ever. To me they are just desperate people looking to get laid. Attraction isn’t a choice but respect is.

So let’s say what you say is true. Guys like skinny girls. Well what if the guy is skinny, fit or athletic himself? Is it unfair that he wants a body type that is on par with what he is (and likely worked hard to achieve?).

Now fat/obese guys expecting a skinny girl is a completely different story. Yes they do exist but it’s rare. In those cases the guy absolutely has to be rich and/or famous to expect that (e. g. a fat but funny Noah Hill)

But it isn’t “disrespectful” that men aren’t giving big girls attention just because they find skinnier women more attractive. Not saying you worded it like that. However I’m seeing more and more big girls with an entitlement complex when it comes to male dating preferences. In fact the whole “body positivity” movement is really based exactly on that: depressed and angry big women who aren’t getting attention from men. You don’t see short guys organizing “short man acceptance” movements because they get less attention from women.

Now respect is a different story. But I have never once in my entire life seen a man publicly humiliate a big girl. Ever. But I have seen women publicly humiliate unattractive men. Especially when a man they don’t find attractive notices then or dares to (respectfully) say hello to them. They use their “feelings” to justify that bullshit. But men don’t get away using their feelings to insult women they don’t find attractive.

I hear girls in school who are overweight and get mad at girls like me because I'm at a healthy weight. They complain no guys like them because they are overweight. Wrong! It's not being overweight that's the issue, the real issue is how they present themselves. Some are just so bitter that they are overweight. What guy is going to be attracted to someone that's bitter and complaining about how overweight they are? They make themselves like they are victims! Obviously they don't like themselves and who they really are, weight has nothing to do with it!! If they changed their attitudes about themselves guys might find them attractive.

This is hilarious because most guys don't even prefer super thin girls. I don't know where you found men and where you live, but I used to be underweight and got bullied so badly by men for it I was told to kill myself. I was told that I was worth nothing unless I had curves and bigger assets. Most guys prefer curvy, healthy weighted women as oppose to thin underweight ones, and that's a biological fact. That was especially proven to me when I became curvier and a more normal weight and men were so much nicer to me and more attracted to me. So my experience was opposite to yours funny enough.

Our preferences are not the result of conscious thought and deliberate choices, but they seem to be formed either innately or at a time when we are too young to remember and make critical choices. I prefer skinny girls, and I prefer blondes, but I don't know why. And most of the girls I have dated over my lifetime were not skinny or blonde.

A lot of what is attractive to one sex or the other comes from natural instinct. It's not a conscious choice. Men don't think "I'm only going to let myself be attracted to thin women with long legs." They just are. So what is it about nature that makes them that way? And how can you explain an "instinct?"

Seems like a very good guess that nature designed men to be instinctually attracted to women who are more fertile and in their peak child bearing years. After all, that's how a species maximizes its chances of survival. So it makes sense nature and evolution would shape men that way.

The long legged think look is associated with a youthful woman in her child bearing years. So men find this instinctually attractive.

It's also probably the reason woman are so prone to want to wear high heels to make their legs look longer. Again, it's association with youth and child bearing capacity. So it is sexy to men.

How can you explain an instinct? You can't because it is not a conscious choice. It just is what it is. It's in the male DNA.

Not completely true... But yeah, they're not fat is why. Believe it or not... fat is not all that beautiful.

Now, with that said, the girls you posted are not what I would call fat either... but... if you were picking out of all of these girls with long term goals of not being with a woman that blows up into a fatty, which would you choose for a long term sort of thing? The thicker girls are great for the here-and-now...

Consider age and the baby you plan on putting in her... if you are thinking long-term. The skinny girl is going to be less likely to just turn into a 250lbs land monster.

Firstly they are not " skinny " they are simply the correct weight , these myths generated the fast food , processed food , and Obesity epidemic.

The body is by far the most important issue in attraction , and it needs to be looked after , it says a lot about the induvial , its about attitude , respect and care for yourself , and males and females need to have the correct BMI , have a good diet , and exercise with NO fast food , this is not actually food , dont accept it as such.

Nothing beats a body that has been looked after.

There is well established hard wired (i. e. genetic) male preference for a waist hip ratio of 0.6 in the planar view (inversely girls like a 0.9 ratio). The planar view is how you see a girl walking down the street towards you in the middle distance.

If I see a nice waist hip ratio in the offing from my street cafe table it certainly puts me on girl alert, anticipating what I will see in the near distance. The waist hip ratio has me already well disposed to a girl before she is anywhere near me.

It is not as if women like in the last two pics can't have an OK waist hip ratio, it is just that it is not going to be as good as what slender women have.

- Since she is small, She is automatically adorable to us.

It's a catch 22 for me because I do love RAIL THIN chics, I also love big tiits (at least a Full C cup, but preferably Double Ds) and that's hard to find, unless she gets a booob job on her stick thin frame.

I found my current BDSM Sub when she was around 130-135 lbs at 5'3 and her tits were big. I forced her to lose the weight (she's now down around 110) and her tits magically stayed a Double D (they shrank a little but nothing substantial).

i think you'll find guys are not that choosy about body shape or looks any hole is a goal. guys will always want to trade up on looks and body and not often trade down so its more likely that a guy will keep hold of a fit sexy good looking girl unless he is sure he can keep hold of the upgrade.

skinny girls are not that great anyway you'll find that its more the athletic and flexible girls that were after and also girls like kate winslet in titanic with shape to them stick insect are just skin and bone so not that appealing

All of those body types are acceptable but tbh skinny or slim is my preference in women. This ain't PC, but in my opinion, Western women are just lazy and overweight. It's not that difficult to stay in shape, and it's a basic indication of health.

a variable you may be overlooking is as you gained that healthier weight, you also got older. with that in mind, it is quite possible, the lessened male attention is more from aging than weight. most men preffer younger for, amongst other reasons, fertility.

Everyone has a different opinion on the type of girls they are attracted to. Me personally I don’t like skinny girls because I feel like most all of them always worry about there weight and my be on a diet and watch what they eat all the time. However being fat is not attractive either because if she is fat she probably doesn’t take care of herself. So I think a girl somewhere in the middle is most attractive but I look at how attractive her face is more than her body because she can change her body if she wants. Not that she should but. To be fair, being obese also affects the face. You can literally see the fat on a girl's face and can easily differentiate a fat girl from a fit girl from their face alone. Physically fit girls are more attractive for many reasons. They look healthier and look like they live more active lifestyles. They look more capable, less lazy, and men are attracted to girls that have less weight because it relates to dominance and submission in bed as well.
