I voted B. I knew a girl once who started trying to see if she could change me to her liking in order to date me. Keep in mind I wasn't really interested in dating her, just wanted to stay friendly, so it began to irritate me when I noticed she was trying to "motivate" me all the time, but she was really hoping she could mold me into something she would want to date. She also had personal problems of her own she needed to fix.

Sadly, this fallacy is kind of hard-coded into the female psyche. That they can mold men into some better version of themselves, yet men rarely change. And (as my dad says) the flip-side of this is that men will expect women to stay the same... and they don't.

I could say it's a product of society, but I actually see it in male and female dogs as well. Male dogs are pretty happy-go-lucky and easy-going, and what you see is what you get, and that's the way they'll always be. The female dogs, however, start off as very eager-to-please, get insecure in adolescence, get more empowered as adults, and then very bossy and commanding to everyone around them, and naggy at the end of life.

This leads me to believe it is a product of evolution and not society.
