I've been seeing this guy for a little over a year now, both romantically and sexually and he's always told me that I had "perfect qualities" (personality and body wise) and that I was the "perfect girl for him". It was super flattering every time he said it, but I never thought much into it. About a month ago, he told me that he wanted to end things and I was completely blindsided. When I asked him why he said it's because we don't want the same thing. We recently messaged each other to which he told me that I'm still his dream girl and he misses me/thinks about me often... wtf? If I was so "perfect" to him, why let me go?
Guys, if you were to find a girl that checked all your boxes, wouldn't you make yourself ready for a relationship with her? Is there something about me that's amiss?
