How busy are busy people?

There is a saying in business (and also) in life.
"If you want something done, ask a busy person".
These are the people who have learned how to do the 20% of things that produce 80% of the results. ref "Mayonnaise Jar test". Those 80% are the "time wasters" that produce minimal results compared to their drain on one's time.
They learn how to prioritize their lives, jobs, families, social life (assuming they are not in lockdown due to the CCP Virus), etc.
And contrary to perception, people CANNOT "multi-task". (sorry, employers) What they are actually doing is completing a smaller part of each of several tasks, and doing so on a "rotating" basis. Even having a snack while typing in GaG, you have to stop typing momentarily to have that chip or bite of candy bar before restarting your comment.
If someone gave you $168 and you HAD SPEND IT: and you could NOT SAVE it, could NOT INVEST it- you MUST SPEND IT, what would you do? Most would say something like use it in the most efficient manner possible, buying only what I really need, etc. Well, we each have 168 hours to spend each week, and it is up to each person to use them as efficiently as possible. We can't save them, we can't put them in a time account and have them multiply: we have to be content with using them in the most effective and efficient manner. "Bundle" your shopping trips, save the repair of your clothing until you have enough to haul out the sewing machine, cook several days worth of food at once and freeze some of it for the future, etc.
It's not about being busy as an absolute, it's about priorities. I have been extremely busy fixing national power grids but I would do anything to make time for my mother who was ill at that time. It's all about priorities. Technology has enabled easy communication to such a degree that if someone doesn't reply to you in about a day, then they dont want to or you rank very low in their list of priorities.
