i was diagnosed with autism as a toddler. the work is just beyond overwhelming to me, it doesn't help i'm a massive procrastinator and have issues with attendance. also my dad died a month ago and i'm really depressed (i've already been depressed for years), i haven't been to school in over a month. i've been thinking about it a lot the past few days. i was thinking i could dropout, work at a part time job for a bit and when i feel like i'm mentally better i go back and get my diploma. though i kinda wanna stay though because of my crush, he more than likely doesn't like me back. his looks don't matter to me, but i love seeing and being around him, it makes me happy. i seriously need advice because i honestly don't know what to do at this point.
I will always so no to dropping out of or quitting school. I get that life has been really tough for you. I also understand that coping with autism is not an easy thing to do. Is there any special help available at the school? That is the first thing I would look for.
Now, that said, I get why you are depressed. Losing a family member is devastating. You may want to look into counseling to help you through that. Absolutely no shame in that at all.
Maybe you just need this break you are on and you are not quite there yet. The problem with quitting school and saying you will go back is so many don't do it. You think you will and then you don't.
Years down the road you are going to regret it. That happens to so many people. Best thing is to work through the difficulties and lean on any resources you have to help you through it. Best of luck to you.

If you drop out you won’t have the support and distraction you sound like you need right now.
Ask for help. And do your best. Hang in there.
I’m sorry to hear about your father.
In life the only way to move is forward & as for you I double dare you to finish high school & succeed in life after that as well.
You're almost there... diploma. Stay with it and don't let all those years you've been in school go to waste.

There are other ways to get a diploma. Can you get some counseling?
That's a lot- too much for you to handle by yourself. I'd advise seeing a therapist.
Try to stick it out for high school college or uni on the other hand you don't need necessarily
